in partnership with the National Portrait Gallery, and the Duchess of Cambridge, 'hold still' is an original piece of music commissioned for the unveiling of a mural portrait as part of the 'hold still' community exhibition.

 

hold still reflects a collective portrait of the UK, encapsulating the support for the NHS and a sense of community during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown. the incredible hand-painted mural of the portrait, melanie, march 2020 by johannah churchill is now on display in manchester’s northern quarter.
