‘Constellations Vol. I: Zodiac’ is an album of musical works by British composer and musician James Peter Moffatt. The album consists of 12 pieces of music, one for each zodiac sign, and has been developed in collaboration with British painter Chris Rivers for his upcoming exhibition ‘Universal’ at Pontone Gallery, London.

Pontone Gallery is proud to present a new exhibition by British painter, Chris Rivers. ‘Universal’ consists of a suite of sixteen paintings, four of which are of the elements: earth, fire, water and air; and twelve depict the individual signs of the zodiac. The artist presents us with his compendium of the cosmos, each image a whirlpool of sumptuous colour, fluid gesture and corporeal paint.

​This album of musical works reflects the high-concept approaches of Holst’s Planets, Vivalidi’s Four Seasons, and Glass’s Koyaanisqatsi, making use of contemporary composition and production approaches, and alongside Chris Rivers’s paintings, critique the Zodiac Constellations in this unmissable artistic collaboration.
